heart-warming news from Puros

Three years ago we spent some very special time with a group of five desert elephants at Puros conservancy and witnessed the first days of a new born elephant calf. We started feeling very close to the most gentle elephant cow being the mother and with great sadness we received the news that later in the year her calf has died.

Last week we met her again and were delighted to see that she gave birth and that the little group is walking with a three months old calf again!

These are the moments that let our hearts beat stronger and inspire me to paint beauty! And so I am now busy with new works of the new addition to the family...
